This show is a Fusion in Wax, the combined work of Patricia Peters and Kathleen Menges. Both contemporary artists work in Cold Wax and Oil.
Patricia and Kathleen are doing a demonstration and talk at the Kariton Gallery April 8th at 1:30 pm, on working in this unusual medium of Cold Wax and Oil.
Kathleen,I love your work.I first saw it in the wabi sabi book.I’m interested in taking a workshop in the future.I see that you do encaustics as well as cold wax.I’m looking to mix them together.Many say you can’t but i’m under the understanding that it is possible and not just as a top layer.Do you teach that?thanks,susan
